2008/2009 Program Overview

Woodbury Lakes Shopping Center wants to put cash in your school's pocket with Cash for Class.

Cash for Class is an incentive program designed to benefit local schools through cash awards. Students, families, friends, and educators are all encouraged to shop Woodbury Lakes and apply their receipts to their favorite participating school. Schools will receive one point for every dollar spent at Woodbury Lakes. Additional bonus points can be earned by promoting the program at your school. The school with the highest point total at the end of the program wins the grand prize, cash!

Shoppers simply make a purchase at any store or restaurant at Woodbury Lakes during the program dates, September 15, 2008, thru May 15, 2009. There are three easy options for schools to receive their point credits:

Option 1

Bring your original receipts to the Woodbury Lakes Management Office during mall hours (located behind Z Gallerie on the south side of Building C). A representative will record the purchase, stamp the receipt, and return the receipt to you before you leave.

Option 2

Bring your original receipts and drop them off at the Woodbury Lakes Management Office. Please note: Your receipts will not be returned to you.

Option 3

Your school can have its own receipt box in the school office for students and parents to drop off their receipts. This option is only available to families who do not want their receipts returned. A school representative must deliver the receipts from the box to Woodbury Lakes Management Office on a monthly basis.

How Schools Can Participate:

• Up to 15 elementary schools can participate in Cash for Class.
• You can register your school on-line or call 651.251.9500. All applications must be received by August 31, 2008, at the Woodbury Lakes Management Office. A drawing will be held September 1, 2008, to choose which schools will participate in the program. Chosen schools will be notified by e-mail.
• Participating schools must assign a coordinator to serve as liaison between Woodbury Lakes and your school. Your coordinator may be a parent, staff member or volunteer.
• Based on total accumulated points earned between September 15, 2008, and May 15, 2009, each school will be awarded cash prizes in June 2009 as follows:

Cash for Class Official Rules:

• Customers can only use Woodbury Lakes store or restaurant receipts toward Cash for Class.
• Receipts must be recorded within 60 days of purchase.
• Receipts must be dated from September 15, 2008, through May 15, 2009.
• Schools must reach a minimum point balance of 10,000 by December 31, 2008. Schools that do not obtain the minimum point balance will be terminated from the program.
• Schools must redeem at least $500 in receipts per month to remain in the program.
• Receipt total, including tax, is eligible for credit.
• Store gift certificates and gift cards are not eligible for credit.
• Soliciting/collecting of receipts on mall property is prohibited.
• Participating schools are credited one (1) point for every dollar of valid store receipts unless otherwise specified by Woodbury Lakes.
• Any school that directly intends to abuse the program will be terminated from the program and the school will not be eligible to receive a cash prize.
• Schools will be eligible to receive 1,000 bonus points per month for their promotional efforts made to advertise the program. For example, placing the school's logo in a newsletter, signage about the event, etc. Schools will need to provide proper documentation such as, photographs or samples of their efforts. Schools will be allowed to earn a maximum of 1,000 bonus points monthly.
